Business Development

Who we serve?

  • Marginalised people (orphans, commercial sex workers, leprosy and AIDS-affected, IV drug users and the disabled) who are so often pushed out from educational and employment opportunities
  • Those who live in poverty

Why we do what we do?

  • We believe that business is one of the most effective tools for assisting the needy to live a self-sustaining life
  • BCI believe that existing business people can embrace a vision for serving and helping others rather than simply turning a profit
  • We desire to mobilise and empower nationals who will use their business expertise to grow and sustain a positive difference in the lives of those whom society has not provided with reasonable access to employment opportunities

What do we offer?

  • BCI creates businesses that empower and dignify every person. We model ethical business practices and the value of social enterprise above profit margins as the bottom-line
  • We create jobs, as well as valuable products and services that benefit the community

Where are we at?

  • BCI has created many businesses through the years but only on a small scale
  • Business Development is a new department and is moving forward with plans for realising our objectives
