Who we serve?

  • People from poor villages who lack essential infrastructure, water, education, agricultural expertise, etc.

Why we do what we do?

  • Leadership is one of the greatest needs in every aspect of life. We strive to build leadership in order to establish every person and village at their potential
  • Millions of people are going without the basic needs of life. For example, many villages do not have enough water to drink or food to eat for months out of the year. One area we work in is one of the most affected by the recent droughts in Yunnan
  • So many live in hopeless situations because they can not see the way forward. We help communities have hope by giving them the basic foundations for helping themselves

What do we offer?

  • Establish clean water systems which find, store and deliver clean water into villages
  • We develop health, education, agriculture and other infrastructural needs in the villages

How do we do it?

  • We listen to the voices of the villagers, always recognising that they (rather than projects) are our primary concern
  • Relationship is an essential foundation for Chinese life. We engage in seeking true friendships and partnerships through which we can build each community and individual
  • We recognise that local ownership and effective knowledge transfer is the key to sustaining the growth and transformation. Therefore to whatever extent possible the labour and skills necessary in accomplishing every task is made the responsiblity of the villagers
  • We provide quality experts who value the people and assist in the process

What has been achieved to date?

  • Delivered clean water to schools and villages in 6 prefectures over the last decade
  • Engineered and oversaw the construction of bridges, roads, electrical systems, bio-gas toilets, schools and medical clinics across the province
  • Transformed agricultural practices in many regions, building farmers abilities to increase productivity
